Oops...

I haven't posted in forever, that is obvious. So..here.

Day 10 - A song with an amazing music video

Begin Again ~ Taylor Swift. There are better music videos out there, but I am super attached to this song right now. Plus, I'd already named a song that has one of the best music videos Ev.Er. so this will have to do. ;)

Day 11 - The song that relates the most to your life right now

This is pretty exclusive...THE song...you want THE song? Well, please direct me to an artist that has written a song that talks about a tired, stressed, happy, confused, sore, hungry girl, and I'll name that song. ;) Got nothin?? Well, in that case...

Fine by Me ~ Andy Grammar. This song describes how I feel a little, so why not?

Day 12 - A song you would like to learn how to play on instruments

Wedding Day at Troldhaugen ~ Grieg. I know this isn't exactly what whoever wrote this challenge had in mind, but I want to learn this. So there.

Day 13 - Your favorite TV theme song

The New Girl Theme Song... So, I pondered this for a minute...did you want my favorite tv show's theme song, or my favorite theme song ever? This was the only one that would come to mind that actually had lyrics, so...tada...

Day 14 - The song with the worst lyrics

Sunshine on my shoulders ~ John Denver. This was the easiest song to think of on this list today. I don't like this song. At all. And if you don't believe me, go youtube it. My family and I will mockingly sing, "Sunshine almooost allwaaaayss maakess meee hiiiighhhhh." all the time. It's obnoxious. Bleck.

So, I've been busy. A lot. Mostly because I was forced to catch up in two subjects last week, and I managed to also get through a whole season of Doctor Who....yeah...I'm a tad addicted to that...oops.

Anyway. I'm exhausted. Very much so. And the only picture I've taken since last posting, is a picture of my dad shirtless (please don't ask). So...goodbye, all.

Is your face from McDonalds?

Day 9 - A song your parents play that always gets on your nerves

Over the Rainbow ~ IZ

I'm not hatin on IZ, kay peeps? This song just drives me bonkers. It just does. merp.

Now. Funny conversation a friend and I had. Just for you.

Friend: Is your face from McDonalds?
Me: Yes, I'm actually their poster child.
Friend: ...
Me: Not the response you were expecting? ;)
Friend: No, I expected a response like that. I was hoping for a different one.
Me: Oh. In that case, let's start over. (you ask your question) (my response) no, why?
Friend: Cuz I'm lovin' it!

I died laughing. And then texted multiple friends the same thing, because it was the funniest thing I'd hear all day.

And then, in the check out line at Sams club, I'm standing there and Autumn leans in and says, "Loook. A pregnant man." and gestures with her head. And it was funny. It doesn't sound funny anymore, but it was.

AND THEN, we're walking in the parking lot, and I stick both feet on the side of the cart, and stick one arm forward and I started yelling, "TO NARNIA!!" and we got many a weird look. It was the frickin bomb.

Now, I'm aware that this isn't the Awkward/Awesome post you were hoping for. I have been beyond preoccupied lately. And with NaNoWriMo on top of everything? I'm dying. BUT I LOVE YOU GUYS ANYWAY!

Anyway. That's all. The end. Bye.

Nobama

First things first. The song.

Day 8: A song that isn’t well known, but should be known by the world.

I was having a hard time with this one. I've never super loved an obscure band. I know that there are GREAT ones out there, I've just never found any that I fell in love with before they hit it big time, ya know?

So, I'm sitting here, listening to my current favorite playlist and it hits me. WHY DON'T I USE THIS SONG?!?

So, without further ado, here is my song:

Dance of the Knights ~ Prokofiev (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DUmq1cpcglQ)

I love this piece so much. It's like...one of my favorites. In fact, I think the world would be a million times better off if they listened to 20th century classical music more! Just throwin that out there.

Just in case anyone was dying with curiosity, my current favorite playlist is called "20th Century Classical" and is full of Prokofiev, Debussy, Dvorak, Rachmaninoff, Grieg, Ravel, etc. I'll stop talking now, cuz I'll start going into spews of love. For these dead guys. K....

I'm not a super big fan of the whole fact that Obama won the presidential elections last night...but, I have said my opinion multiple times, and I doubt you guys want to hear it, so I'll keep it to myself. Just know that he wasn't born in the US. Nope. He was born...*whispers* in the devils butt hole.

Okay, if Obama ever reads this...I don't mean it...entirely. Sorry, Obama.

JUST KIDDING I DON'T LIKE YOU.

Okay, I'm done now.

Should I feel this guilty?

Okay. This HAD to go in a post all it's own. So, yesterday, Rebekah texts me and says something along the lines of, "We should text morbid things to random numbers." I was babysitting and the kids had just gone to bed, I was having trouble finding the right remotes to watch stuff, so I figured, eh, why not?

So, it began. We each gave a number to the other, of someone that WE knew, but THEY didn't. No one responded. So we did another number. And this is where I got results. Now, we didn't know who we were texting. To make it funnier, ya know? About half way through the conversation, I guessed who it was. I've never talked to this girl, before last night, but I gathered who she was, therefore freaking her out more.

Here's our conversation:

Me: I'm sorry about all the extra blood.
Her: So whosssss this?
Me: That's not important. I just really wanted to apologize for all the blood in your car.
Her: Sokay. I'm a vampire.
Me: Oh thank goodness. How long have you been a vampire?
Her: Three months and 2 days.
Me: I'm so glad you've kept track. Considering this, I assume it's okay that I left a body in your car? Only one...three.
Her: Nah that's okay. I'll dump em in the trash on my way home.
Me: You are a life saver! Or rather...a life...dumper. I got nothin. But yeah. Could you keep 3 teeth from each victim for me?
Her: Actually...I can only get you two teeth...
Me: ....why not all three?
Her: I need to finish my bracelets. Hey cmon. Beggars can't be choosers.
Me: But I need NINE total teeth. I need ALL of them. I can't have SIX. SIX?! What do you take me for?!
Her: For a moon bouncer.
Me: AN EFFING MOON BOUNCER?! Dude, don't be this crevice in my arm. Give me the teeth.
Her: YES. EFFIE. EFFING TRINKET. I'll be a crevice if I want to! I WILL NOT BE SILENCED!
Me: GIVE ME THE FRIGGIN TEETH!
Her: MAKE ME! COME AT ME BROOOOOOOOO.
Me: The next body will be yours...or the teeth. Your choice.
Her: AIGHT. I'll give ya eight teeth.
Me: You are so SEXY right now. I can deal with that.
Her: MADAM. I DIGRESS. THAT IS NOT OKAY.
Me: ...what makes you think I am of the female gender?
Her: Well, judging by ur attempt to deny it, ur a man.
Me: Maybe I'm a female AND a male. Ever thought of that?!
Her: Whatever floats your boat. I don't judge.
Me: Also, I can get your some more teeth in two hours for the bracelets. I know your girlfriend wanted those stat.
Her: Nah sall good. Anyway srsly who is this?
Me: Your worst nightmare.
Her: Cool. Srsly who?
Me: You don't know me.
Her: Do you know my name?
Me: Nope.
Her: Ok. But who are you?
Me: My name is Dee Dee Buttersnaps.
Her: Cool. Or Something.
Me: Yup.
Her: Where'd you get my number?
Me: The phonebook. Maybe. Actually, I just lied on accident.
Her: Palmer?
Me: I one knew someone whose last name was Palmer. Or something.
Her: Ok well. Bye. Goodluck with. Whatever you do.
Me: Thank you! I'll let my female banana companion know you said hi, Miss. M. :)
Her: ....who is this?
Me: Nobody.
Her: Srsly.
Me: You don't know me.
Her: Ok. But do you know me?
Me: I know of you.
Her: Ok? Who is this?
Me: My friend is your friend. I guess you could say we're friends through association.
Her: Which friend are we discussing?
Me: Your mother.
Her: I can't tell if you're serious or not.
Me: And that's the beauty of mysterious random texts. Let me know if you find any more bodies/teeth. Bye!

Phew. Okay. So, I hope that made you laugh. At least once. I feel sorta guilty, cuz Beka just told me that it super freaked her out, and she had to have her friend come and check her car for bodies...and then she called Beka and told her about this freaky person. Once Beka calmed her down tho, she thought it was hilarious tho...apparently. But anyway. I feel guilty. SO, Miriah...if you are reading this, I formally and PUBLICLY apologize. Uhyup.

Here's the link to Beka's blog post  where she refers to her experience.

Laters, peeps.

"Hey, can we shower in your house?"

Today, I'm giving you all the pictures I've taken for you, and failed to upload. So, you're welcome.

I don't really have much to report about my life. I'm doing school. Elections are today. I can't vote. I made extra money last night. That's basically it.

Day 7- A song you wish was never made and want to DESTROY!!

It will rain ~ Bruno Mars

This song just bugs the crap out of me. I hate it. So so so so SO much. The end.

Also. Julia is one of the greatest people ever. We skyped today, and we planned  many wonderful things we will do together eventually. After Elevation. It will be beautiful. And awkward for other people. Woot woot!

On to the pictures.

Georgi and I. In her car. After ONE of our adventures. ;)
This picture is not very good at depicting it. BUT. My hands are red. It's from dyeing a pair of pants red. So, my hands are red. A lot of people wondered why.
This was on Halloween. Aves is adorable.
Georgi and I. Don't we look hot? *cough*
This is just me...in a new shirt that I love, so I had to take a picture in it.
This picture makes me laugh so so much. Yes, he's wearing my shirt. Yes, I'm wearing his. It's just...yup. A long story.

I will now pay attention to class.

We be stunna

I was busy all weekend. I threw a surprise party for my sister, which took a lot of effort...so...I apologize that I didn't post. At all. Also, it's Monday. Ew.

Stop. song time. (I gotcha. You thought it was gonna be "Hammer time" or "in the name of love", didn't you?)

Day 3 - A song that makes you want to cry.

Long Live ~ Taylor Swift

For those who have heard this song, you might understand. This song reminds me of people in my past, and the people in my present, who I loved/love dearly. Certain people come to mind. Garrett, Casey, Jacob, Brooke, Helen, Rebekah, Layne. I will share my "tear jerking" line with you.

"Please promise me this. If you have children someday, when they point to the pictures, please tell them my name."

Nuff said.

Day 4 - A song you listen to when you're pissed.

Misery Business ~ Paramore

The name kinda says it all, no? When I'm pissed, the beat and the words really resonate with me and I feel powerful. Just cuz.

Day 5 - A song that would not be appropriate in church.

Heh. Heh. There are a lot of songs that wouldn't be appropriate in church...But I shall say...

E.T. ~ Katy Perry

This song was, strangely enough, stuck in my head all of Saturday. Or, part of a remix of this song.

Story time.

I went to my dads office with Georgi to  blow up balloons for Autumn's surprise birthday. The first song that came on pandora was the remix of E.T. And at the party later, when handing out the cards for "Mafia", I would start singing the beat. (" DA NU NU NU NU NU NU NU NU NU NU DAAA NU NU NU NU NU NU NU NU NU NU!") It thoroughly annoyed a few girls, but everyone else thought it was hilarious.

End of story time.

Day 6 - The "Mother knows best" song from Tangled.

First, who DOESN'T love this movie? Please comment your address, so I can come hit you with a tack hammer.

I just love this song. It makes me laugh, and reminds me of when Helen and I were at Navajo Lake and we watched Tangled with everyone the last night.

So. Here's a picture for you.

Hot, right? I know. We be stunnas.

I can't explain this picture. So deal with it.

Also, I dyed those pants myself. Yup. I'm cool.

No longer subjected to toast

I like to think that I'm a funny person. I just do. Today, I was writing a response essay on the Book of Acts. And I was trying to come up with a title for my essay. And I thought some of them were kind a little funny. So tada. You get to see them.

A higher law: No longer subjected to toast

Why fear the future?

Teachings of Christ: A new trend

Ancient Fear of Change

Change is hard...or is it?

Okay. So maybe they're not THAT funny.

Anyway. Thursday. You know what that means. However...I can not, for the life of me, remember a single awkward thing that happened this past week. Which is incredibly disappointing, I know. Not just for you, but for me as well. *sigh* Anyway. Moving on.

Day 2 - A song that always makes you happy.

Last Friday Night(TGIF) ~ Katy Perry

The reason I pick this song? There is a LOT of sentimental reason for this song. This is one of the MANY songs for Helen and I. BUT this was the first. And we blasted it multiple times. And it was fabulous. And I am full of nostalgia right now, so, to avoid crying, I will leave you at that.

Terder. Here's my picture.
